After four years of working with the great people at Viper, we jumped at the chance to give Visual FX a try for all our AV needs. We do four shows a year that last 5 days each… and the days really never end. Our AV needs are complex. Sometimes is just a projector in one of our class rooms. More often than not it’s a full blown event with models on a runway, manned spot lights, and varying zones of sound. We’ve now done two shows with Visual FX. From small needs to large needs, Visual FX is the best AV company we have ever worked with in the 22 years that we’ve been doing events.

For our first two shows with Visual FX we had the pleasure of working with Rob Olis. Rob and the Visual FX crew were so prepared and ready with backup plans in case something didn’t work. I’ve never seen such pre-planning (well outside the scope of our B.E.O.s).

And the quality of the product was better than we’ve ever had. For six years we’ve been working on an audio problem for our main Fashion Show event with other AV companies. We’ve always been told that “that’s the best we can do” with the sound given the configuration. At our very first show Visual FX identified the problem and was able to give us significantly better audio than we had ever had before. By our second show with Visual FX, they had solved the problem outright!

Here’s my recommendation… You owe it to your customers as well as your own piece of mind to work with AV guys that are this good.

Once again, I had the pleasure of working with Michael and John of Visual FX, Inc. at the WPATH GEI training, this time in Arlington, VA.

I don’t have their addresses, so would you please give them this photo along with my thanks? And thanks to you for finding them.

They are true professionals and also fun to work with, which I consider a very important attribute as well.

I can only imagine how challenging it must be to work with our team when we might be nervous about public speaking. It also can’t be easy to deal with so many of us simultaneously, with each of us wanting their undivided attention. They have definitely reduced my anxiety!!

And they go beyond the call of duty. When I was doing a small training in the room next to the main room, Michael came in several times to check that everything was working. And in a previous training, John surprised me by picking up a bag of goodies (cheese, salami, that kind of thing) and then delivering it to my room. He had a car and had heard me mention that there weren’t any good snacks at the hotel. So he just went out and got me some!

So, please let them know how much we appreciate them and enjoy having them on the WPATH team.
